Let us appreciate the rarity of a late thirties two-tone custom-bodied Packard. It was uncommon (not en vogue, generally) to have a two-tone paint scheme after ~1935. The above is a 1938 Packard Twelve Convertible Victoria with custom coachwork by the Derham Body Company, and a true one of one. My friend restored this car, and I got a very nice, long ride in it. If you’re not familiar with this car’s story, it’s one that would interest you. There’s even a book about this car, which compiled all of the supporting paperwork that enabled my friend to restore this car to exacting originality.
